Novelty football kits are nothing new in today's game.

But Spanish minnows Zamora have taken it to the next step by revealing a bizarre new strip that features a graphic design of the human circulatory system.

And in the middle, where the heart would be, is the crest, to reflect the open values of the club.

On the back of the shirt, the Spanish club have included a message that reads: 'Blood, that red liquid that transports life to our body, that is born and flows from the heart, to feed our emotions and feelings'.

The club unveiled the daring new shirt, designed by Kappa, on Twitter to much fanfare, with one user saying: 'I'm in love with this kit', complete with heart emojis.

Another tweeted: 'The designer really put his heart into this kit.'

Zamora play in group eight of Spain's Tercera Division - the country's fourth tier.
