France and Romania seemed reluctant to take any chances in their final group stage match at the Under-21 European Championships.

The game ended in a goalless draw, with neither side registering a shot on target within the 90 minutes.
At the bottom of the group, England and Croatia were engaged in a six goal thriller to see who would avoid the humiliation of going home without any points.

The 0-0 draw means that both teams end the group stage with seven points. Romania will be going through in first place thanks to their superior goal difference.
France only scored three goals during the group stage, but it was enough to secure them two wins and a draw, and a spot in the next round as well. Meanwhile, Romania scored eight and let in three.
France will be playing Spain in the semi-finals, while Romania will be going on to face Germany.

Both semi-finals will be played on June 27, with the final taking place in Udine on June 30.
England's disappointing Euro campaign came to an exciting end, as they played out a 3-3 draw with Croatia in the other match in Group C.
