Official news, Salamanca UDS Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Muniain as the new head coach of the first team for the 2026/27 season.

Muniain has served at Athletic Club (where he was captain and is a legend of the club) and Atlético San Lorenzo (where he played).

Last season, Muniain coached the Tercera División RFEF team CD Del Rio, ultimately leading the team to the promotion play-offs, but ultimately failed to achieve promotion.
