According to football.london, Redknapp believes Chelsea's signing of E. Martinez is a very smart move.

He stated that E. Martinez's experience and ability would greatly help Chelsea and ease the team's concerns about the goalkeeper position.

Redknapp also mentioned that if Chelsea continued to start their previous goalkeeper this season, it would be difficult to take them seriously.

When asked if Brentford's signing of Sangaré was the best transfer of the summer, Redknapp turned his attention to Chelsea: "Yes, for me, there's also E. Martinez—that's a very shrewd signing," he said.
