Xavi: I don't want to comment too much on individual players who weren't selected. We have been observing him and continue to monitor his situation. Xavi: Yes, in my opinion, he is an attacking midfielder.

Xavi: No.

Reporter: You were very polite in your assessment of the quality of Dutch Eredivisie teams, but their performance in European competitions has not been ideal, with more losses than wins. Is it honest to say their level is "very high"?

Xavi: The quality is indeed good. For example, I reiterate, I really enjoyed the Ajax vs. PSV Eindhoven match. I think it was a very high-level encounter, Champions League level in my eyes. So, they need to continue to work hard, maintain their focus, and keep going. Perhaps in the future or a few years from now, they will be very competitive in European competitions; why not?

Reporter: Because once it comes to international competitions, the results are not great. Dutch teams generally struggle in European competitions, and that is precisely the highest stage where they all aspire to establish themselves.

Xavi: This requires a process of resurgence. Yes, but that is not within my jurisdiction.

Xavi: I am always willing to assist all clubs. I have always maintained communication with coaches from various clubs. Of course, I am absolutely happy to help them, but ultimately this is not my core task; this is a club-level matter, and you should direct your questions to the clubs.

Reporter: Have you already established connections with many coaches?

Xavi: Yes, although I haven't contacted everyone, I've had contact through various channels.

Reporter: Such as whom?

Xavi: For example, I have a good relationship with Gio (van Bronckhorst); at Ajax, I spoke with Jordi (Cruyff), but I also have a good relationship with Michel (Vroucke), and so on.

Reporter: You don't specifically call to communicate before calling up players from their team, do you?

Xavi: It depends on the specific situation, but usually no, I don't want to disrupt their daily preparations.

Reporter: You don't want to reveal specific tactical approaches, but what exactly is your Plan B? Do you have players in your squad similar to Mikel Merino who can play his role in this Dutch team?

Xavi: We have all kinds of midfielders. Some are technically gifted, some are physically strong, some are good at making runs into space, and some are excellent at controlling and protecting the ball. We also have very fast players.
