Following Arsenal's 0-3 loss to Brighton on Saturday, Mikel Arteta is keen to resume work on the training pitch. However, Arsenal will not play another match until they host Leeds United on October 10. With a large number of players away on international duty, the number of individuals available at the Sobha Realty Training Centre in the coming weeks will be limited, and the likelihood of arranging closed-door friendly matches will also be reduced.

Goalkeepers Kepa and Meslier were not called up to their national squads. Kepa was seen leaving the Amex Stadium on Saturday alongside David Raya, Merino, and Zubimendi, which might suggest he is returning home to visit family with these three World Cup winners.

Madueke has not yet challenged Saka for a starting spot, and his performances as a substitute for both club and country have not met expectations. He underwent extensive individual training before and after the World Cup, but this work has not yet translated into the impact Arsenal needs. Missing out on the England squad may motivate him to return to his best form, and Arsenal will still rely on his contributions during the busy fixture schedule ahead.

Havertz, although called up to the German squad, will only participate in the first two Nations League matches. After that, he is expected to rest and is likely to return to Arsenal training earlier than other teammates, which will help Arteta prepare for the Leeds United match.
