"If you look at where I was in the academy compared to now, I don't think I'm the same player you see every week.

"I've completely transformed as a player, and I've learned this through my loan spells. Academy football can teach you certain skills and tactical aspects of the game, but football is football.

"However, how to actually play the game, the competitiveness, what the game demands, what teams want to do to win, how to execute that to win – you can't replicate that in academy football. That only happens in senior football.

"Having these experiences early on has continuously pushed me to develop and improve. By the time I was ready for the next level, I'd already experienced both good and bad. I learned how to handle losses and adapt to different playing styles.

"So I truly believe these experiences have helped me become who I am now. Everyone's path is different. I wasn't ready then. I needed time to grow, learn, understand myself better, and reach the level I knew I could achieve."
