According to Egyptian media reports, internal conflicts allegedly emerged during the Egyptian national team's training camp, though the team later denied these claims.

Egypt drew 0-0 with Angola in their first 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, then defeated South Sudan 5-0, and will play a friendly against South Africa at Cairo International Stadium to conclude the training camp.
Egyptian journalist Ahmed Abdel Basit discussed the situation during the national team's training camp on the "Al-Kora Maâ Fayek" program on MBC Masr 2.
Abdel Basit stated that Khaled Dendali, a member of the Egyptian Football Association's board and head of the delegation during the team's away match against South Sudan, may take action based on a report submitted by national team manager Ibrahim Hassan. The report concerns incidents that occurred while Ibrahim Hassan was leading the delegation and could potentially lead to his dismissal if deemed severe.
He also claimed that some Egyptian national team players were dissatisfied with head coach Hossam Hassan, allegedly over harsh remarks he made to players during the Angola match, particularly near the bench after Salah's substitution.
Abdel Basit stated that Ibrahim Hassan made offensive comments to some players after the match, causing discontent within the squad. Subsequently, Hossam Hassan attempted to defuse tensions, apologize, and calm the situation.
Abdel Basit also claimed that Salah left the national team training camp in anger, creating a tense atmosphere.
According to Abdel Basit, Khaled Dendali has been informed of the situation. If tensions persist, some players may skip the next training camp.
Abdel Basit specifically named Salah, Marmoush, and Mohamed Abdelmonem, stating that if the crisis is not resolved, they and other players might not participate in the next training camp.
In response, Mohamed Murad, media officer for the Egyptian national team, denied reports of offensive remarks or disputes within the squad.
Murad stated in a declaration to journalists that Ibrahim Hassan did not insult or abuse any Egyptian national team player during or after the Angola match.
Murad also denied any conflict between Hossam Hassan and Salah, stating that video footage showed no tension between the head coach and national team captain on the bench.
Murad said the coaching staff did not hold a meeting with players after the match, as they were in a small room at Cairo Stadium while players were in the dressing room.
He added that everyone then returned to the hotel, where Hossam Hassan met with the players in the dining area, encouraging and reassuring them.
Murad emphasized that there was no collective dissatisfaction within the team, nor any agreement among players to boycott the next national team call-up.
National team manager Ibrahim Hassan subsequently announced he would pursue legal action against the "Al-Kora Maâ Fayek" program for publishing claims about events during the training camp.
Ibrahim Hassan told the "Yalla Kora" website: "I will file a complaint with the Attorney General against the 'Al-Kora Maâ Fayek' program, and my lawyers have already begun the necessary procedures."
The controversy surrounding the Egyptian national team's training camp atmosphere has thus escalated into a public dispute: one side claims tension and dissatisfaction exist within the squad, while the other denies these allegations through official statements. Legal proceedings and official investigations will ultimately clarify the situation.
