Harry Kane once said that England were always looking for a complete 90-minute performance, and they delivered it tonight.

Yes, absolutely. Apart from perhaps the three minutes after we went 3-0 up, where we made a big mistake and gave away a couple of easily controllable possessions, but for the entire 90 minutes, everyone performed at the highest level, from the first minute to the last, whether they were starters or substitutes. It was a top-tier performance, congratulations to the team.

Winning 7-0 against any team is obviously extremely rare, let alone against a top-ten European team.

Yes, and away from home, which is very, very impressive. We created so many chances. In the first 40 minutes, we played fluidly from the start. I remember looking at my watch and thinking: wow, the first three minutes were really good; a little later I looked again and thought: the first seven minutes were also very good; and that momentum never stopped. The team maintained its rhythm, penetrated the opponent's defensive gaps, and was incredibly clinical in front of goal. We were always hungry in pressing and defending, so we did the basic work very well. I loved that attitude. We always played with humility and always got the basic details right, which is why it was an impeccable, perfect performance.
