According to Goal, Fred recounted his experience playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United during an appearance on the "Charla" podcast, describing how Cristiano Ronaldo is extremely dedicated to training and maintains very high standards.

During Cristiano Ronaldo's second stint at Manchester United, he and Fred were teammates. Fred witnessed firsthand the Portuguese player's exceptionally high standards and distinctive style.

During that time, Fred experienced the discipline and personality of this football superstar. The Brazilian midfielder recently reflected on those moments and shared details that impressed him during their time together.

Fred praised Cristiano Ronaldo's character and his meticulous attention to his daily routines. He said: "He's a very good person, but he has very high standards. You cannot argue with him. Everything has to be the way he wants it."

The midfielder also highlighted Cristiano Ronaldo's professionalism and his influence on his teammates. According to DAZN, Fred said: "He is very professional. Whenever he joins any club, people's perception of him changes because they see him working hard. His mentality is also very strong."

What surprised Fred most was Cristiano Ronaldo's dedication to training. He said: "I would arrive about an hour and a half early and find him already in the gym. When I left, he was still there. I thought to myself, 'Wow, this guy operates on a completely different level. He's extraordinary in every way. Very professional.'"

Fred also shared a small detail that revealed Cristiano Ronaldo's almost meticulous standards and his attention to detail in his daily life: "He brings his own water, claiming it's from the Himalayan mountains. He gets very upset when he's not allowed to bring liquids into a facility. In the end, he had no choice but to leave the bottle behind."

Beyond these anecdotes, Fred also noted that his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo extends beyond his professionalism alone. The Brazilian player believes Cristiano Ronaldo is the type of player who can change the course of a game.

Fred concluded by saying: "When he plays, he's a phenomenon. Age may have an effect on him, whether you accept it or not, but he has extraordinary talent. The moment he gets the ball and can shoot, he won't hesitate for a second. He's an exceptional player, a true phenomenon."

Fred's comments come amid previous controversy involving Cristiano Ronaldo. Cristiano Ronaldo had a dispute with coach Jorge Jesus after being brought on as a substitute in a Nations League match where Portugal defeated Norway 2-1, and subsequently left Portugal's national team training camp.
