According to fcinews, while riding an electric scooter in downtown Milan, Thuram was recognized by a group of young people who joked with him about Leão.

When the youngsters asked if he was Thuram, he replied with a laugh, "I am Rafael Leão, that player—the one from Galatasaray."

He also joked that he was a former Milan player now playing for a Turkish team before riding off.
