Fabio Capello stated in an interview with AS that San Siro is irreplaceable and it's difficult to imagine it ceasing to exist.

The former Milan coach discussed how the San Siro stadium will be replaced by a new venue, with renderings expected to be unveiled by the end of October. Capello said: "What more can be said? It's one of the most iconic stadiums in the world. Those stairs leading to the second and third tiers... it's irreplaceable. For me, playing there was a dream, as was managing my team there. You walk in, look up, and immediately feel the pressure to perform at the highest level. It's hard for me to imagine it not being there anymore. There will be a void, but we have to look forward."
