In 1998, Van Nistelrooy joined PSV Eindhoven and eventually made a name for himself, where he won two Eredivisie titles. He joined Man Utd in 2001, and later became, at the time, their all-time European record goalscorer. In 2006, Real Madrid secured his services for 4 seasons. His retirement from football was announced on 14 May 2012. Now, he's the new manager of the PSV under-19s!
