According to Bild, Bayern Munich's Asian tour has reached its second stop in Hong Kong, and the prospect of Palhinha's transfer may intensify.

On Friday at 8 PM Beijing time, Bayern Munich will face Premier League side Aston Villa in their fourth preseason friendly at Kai Tak Sports Park.
Villa has shown interest in Palhinha in recent weeks, and according to Bild, that interest remains active. Bayern Munich directors Eberl and Freund are eager to offload the defensive midfielder, who no longer fits their plans. Bayern hopes to recoup his transfer fee through his departure.
The challenge is that Villa and Bayern Munich have yet to agree on transfer terms. Bayern recently demanded around €25 million for the Portuguese player, a figure Unai Emery's club considers too steep, as do other interested parties like Sporting CP and Benfica. The two clubs have also previously disagreed over a loan with an option to buy or a mandatory purchase obligation.
While a significant financial gap remains between the sides before this friendly, their proximity in Hong Kong offers an opportunity for face-to-face negotiations over the coming days.
Beyond agreeing on a fee, however, both clubs must also convince Palhinha himself. His contract with Bayern runs until 2028 with an annual salary of approximately €8.5 million. Though he had been open to leaving Munich, roughly a week and a half ago he stated he now wants to stay and fight for a place in Kompany's squad.
Bild reports that despite this stance, Palhinha and his representatives remain open to offers, as he does not wish to stay unconditionally. Should he feel he is not receiving fair treatment or adequate playing opportunities at Bayern Munich, the transfer question could resurface—provided an offer meets his requirements in terms of location, salary, and sporting ambition.
