Former Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko, now working as a player agent, was interviewed by TuttoJuve before the match against NEC Nijmegen. He discussed Juventus' season goals, transfers, Spalletti, and new signings, and shared his expectations for Juventus.

Sissoko, what will be the score of Juventus vs. NEC Nijmegen?

"I predict a 2-0 win for Juventus. It's important to start well in this competition, and the goal must be to win it."

What should be the season's goals?

"Win everything. You are Juventus, so you must strive for this and fight until the end."

The Europa League and Coppa Italia are achievable goals, but the league doesn't seem to offer the feeling of competing with Inter Milan and other teams yet.

"Let's go for it first; we are Juventus, we won't give up before we even start. I'd add that the club did an excellent job this summer because several very good management figures arrived who have the ability to start a new championship cycle. You will also see some of Juventus' most important players gradually return."

Do you envision this new championship cycle being led by Luciano Spalletti? After the loss to Sassuolo, there's renewed talk about Antonio Conte...

"Of course, absolutely. Football needs planning to win; it's pointless to always think about changing coaches, management, or players. The team needs stability, and I feel Juventus has that stability now."

Speaking of players, like Spalletti, are you still optimistic about Kolo Muani?

"Of course, 100% optimistic. He hasn't found consistency these past few years; he needs time, and you have to believe in his abilities. I believe he will become an important player for Juventus."

What about Waldemar?

"I've seen him start to adapt to this new jersey. He's a different type from Randal (Muani), a striker, very tall, and also very technical. He's scored crucial goals for both Stuttgart and Newcastle United, so I think he can replicate that performance at Juventus too."

Do you think Pape Sarr can perform well at Juventus?

"Playing for Juventus is not easy; the weight of this jersey has always been heavy, even in these difficult times. I know his running ability; he was important for Senegal, and also at Tottenham Hotspur. Now he's in a completely different football environment, and it's up to him to prove he deserves to be at this club. He has a chance to fight for a starting position. Just wait and see, he will surprise you."

Last question, which player are you most looking forward to seeing perform this season?

"Khéphren Thuram, I've always had high expectations for him. Once he's back under Spalletti, I believe he can play a decisive role in midfield. He and Yıldız should both be seen as Juventus' two new signings in January."
