According to an official report from Borussia Dortmund, new signing Careca has resumed training with his teammates and is scheduled to travel to Stuttgart with the team for inclusion in the squad list. Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovač said: "He is positive, always smiling, very happy, and enjoys training."

Nico Schlotterbeck and Ramy Bensebaini returned to action last weekend against Paderborn. Kovač said: "They have recovered well, can play this weekend, and are ready."

Schlotterbeck was subsequently called up for Germany's upcoming international matches.
