According to World Football Connection agency, 18-year-old Japanese midfielder Haruto Miura has joined Darmstadt and will initially play for the youth team.

World Football Connection agency announced on the 17th that midfielder Haruto Miura (18) will join Darmstadt's U19/U21 youth teams. Darmstadt's official website has also listed him as a U19 player.
Miura transferred from Kashima Antlers' youth academy to Kashima Gakuen High School's U18 team in his second year. During the national high school football championship in his final year, he impressed with his excellent dribbling skills. He scored 2 goals in the tournament, helping his team finish as runners-up, and was selected as an outstanding player and included in the Japan High School Selection Team candidates.
In April this year, he enrolled at Chuo Gakuin University. He made 5 appearances and scored 1 goal in the Kanto University League Division 3.
Darmstadt's first team already includes Japanese players midfielder Hiroki Akiyama and midfielder Yosuke Furukawa.
