According to Manchester United's official website, Kobbie Mainoo has overwhelmingly won Manchester United's Player of the Month award for September.

The technically gifted midfielder performed exceptionally well throughout September, maintaining a high level of performance in both domestic and European matches.

He played a crucial role in all four of his starts, with his performance against Everton particularly praised—where he provided an assist for a goal. He received applause from away fans when substituted against Fulham, and this time he has claimed the top honor after finishing second only to captain Bruno Fernandes in August's voting.

Mainoo beat Matheus Cunha and Youri Tielemans to win the award. He received 82% of the votes, with Cunha in second place with 13% and Tielemans third with 5%.

Mainoo has had a strong season under manager Erik ten Hag, with previous top-three finishes in the Player of the Month voting. His last Player of the Month award came in January 2024.
