According to Record, Bruno Fernandes will captain Portugal in their match against Denmark after the official UEFA website mistakenly listed Rúben Dias as captain due to a technical error.

Cristiano Ronaldo left Portugal's training camp on Wednesday and will miss this match. Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United has earned 95 caps for Portugal and is the most-capped outfield player among those starting in this match. Bernardo Silva has earned 114 caps for Portugal but will be on the bench for this fixture.

Earlier reports indicated that Rúben Dias would be captain, but this information stemmed from a technical error on the official UEFA website, which incorrectly tagged the centre-back as captain. Record subsequently obtained the official squad list for the match, confirming that Bruno Fernandes will wear the captain's armband.
