After Portugal defeated Denmark 4-2 away from home, head coach Jorge Jesus spoke to RTP about the team's performance, the players' trust in him, and how he handles outside speculation.

It was a difficult win... what pleased you most and least?
"The thing that pleased me most, of course, was the victory," Jesus said. "We will analyze the match afterward, and the team is constantly improving. What pleased me most... I don't know how many teams have won 4-2 here in recent years. I'm talking about this current Denmark team, not the one from 15 years ago. Also, the pressing—I really liked our pressing. People have already congratulated me, saying that Portugal played very well."
Do you feel you have control of this team?
"Control of the team? I don't know, I think so, but I'm not sure how to answer that," Jesus said. "I have a group of players who believe in me, which makes my job easier. If you think that's controlling the team, then I've controlled the team."
With all the outside speculation, was it difficult to focus on this match?
"It will be the same for the next match at the Estádio do Dragão; I have to focus on the game," Jesus said. "Other matters, we'll discuss them later. Difficult to concentrate? It would only be difficult if I didn't know what was happening inside the team. What I need to focus on is leading the players in training."
