According to Cadena SER, Raphinha underwent a medical examination at Barcelona on Friday that brought relief. The check-up ruled out any injury to the Brazilian international, meaning he is available for Barcelona's first LaLiga match after the international break.

Tests conducted at Barcelona's Ciutat Esportiva confirmed that Raphinha had no injury to his right thigh, only swelling. He was substituted as a precaution due to discomfort during Brazil's friendly match against Australia. Barcelona's medical team diagnosis aligned with the Brazilian Football Confederation's initial assessment: no injury was present.
During Brazil's training camp, the player had already reassured the club, stating it was only minor discomfort. However, given Raphinha's history of thigh injuries, he prudently left the Brazilian squad and returned to Barcelona, avoiding the trip to Kolkata for Saturday's friendly against India.
Although the Barcelona examination results are positive, Raphinha, who arrived in the Catalan capital on Thursday, will likely undergo specialized recovery training when the team resumes practice on Monday. Barcelona faces a packed October schedule with six matches in 16 days—LaLiga clashes against Getafe, Betis, and Real Madrid, plus Champions League encounters with Galatasaray and Paris Saint-Germain—and the club does not want to lose their in-form player, who has already scored 12 goals in the opening seven LaLiga rounds to top the scoring charts.
