Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboué has told LiveFootballTickets that Chelsea pose a significant threat to Arsenal's title ambitions this season.

Eboué believes Chelsea's summer signings will ultimately make them genuine contenders for the title. The Blues spent £349 million during the summer transfer window, bringing in 11 new players, including Morgan Rogers, Danny Welbeck, and Emi Martinez.

Eboué said: "Chelsea are a team Arsenal need to be wary of because they have so many excellent players. The Premier League will be very difficult, but I believe in what Arteta is doing, and I believe in Arsenal."

Eboué remains hopeful that Arsenal will retain their Premier League title and believes the club can win the Champions League for the first time this season. Arsenal lost to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League in May and ultimately failed to claim the trophy.

Eboué stated: "Arsenal is my team. This season will be very difficult because there are so many good teams and players. But if Arsenal continue to play the way they are now, I'm confident they can win the league title. I'd give them a 75% chance."

"Arsenal are getting closer to their goal. If they keep getting closer every year, one day they will win the Champions League. I believe in this team and I believe in the way they play. People used to say Arsenal played well but couldn't win. Now, other teams are afraid when they play against Arsenal."
