After scoring a brace in England's 7-0 away victory over Croatia in the third round of the UEFA Nations League group stage, Kane was interviewed by ITV.

Harry, you've been part of many unforgettable classic matches for England in the past, but tonight saw Croatia suffer a historic defeat – a 0-7 scoreline. You're a top-10 European powerhouse...
Yes, the performance from the first minute to the last was incredible. I think we've repeatedly emphasized the importance of playing with absolute dominance for the full 90 minutes – completely overwhelming the opponent in possession and out of possession. And I believe tonight's game perfectly exemplified that.
You know, when we have freedom, completely overpower our opponents physically, and play at the high intensity and pace of the Premier League, that's when we're at our best. You saw it on the pitch today – they simply couldn't handle our attacking speed, movement, and forward runs. And our finishing today was extremely clinical and efficient.
Since the start of the new World Cup cycle, you, Gordon, Bellingham, and Saka have collectively scored 31 goals. Tonight, your attacking movements and frequent positional rotations were very fluid – for instance, you often dropped deep while Bellingham moved up to occupy the No. 9 position. What's the key to this fluid attacking approach?
Yes, I think the key is the freedom we're given in attack. The four of us up front are all excellent players. Each of us can operate in the spaces around the No. 10 position and play other roles too – Gordon can play No. 9, Saka can cut inside to play No. 10, Bellingham can act as a No. 9, and I can drop back into midfield. This makes it extremely difficult for the opponent's defense to mark us individually.
More fundamentally, once we lose the ball in the attacking third, all of us have the tactical intelligence and ability to immediately track back and provide coordinated cover in midfield and defense. That's the style of football we want to play. You could see on the pitch today how difficult it became for the opponent to press and tackle any one of us. Additionally, Alex Scott and Elliott Anderson were also excellent today with their active runs and movement, as were our center-backs and full-backs – everyone performed at their highest level.
This big win also puts you in a strong position to secure qualification for the finals, easing the pressure on the team. It was clearly a critical match...
I think Croatia clearly rested a lot of key players on Tuesday and viewed tonight's match as their best opportunity to challenge for one of the top two spots and qualification. However, we came here and played with complete dominance. Especially given the circumstances this week – the pleasant scenery, clear weather, and the excellent hotel overlooking the sea – it would have been easy for us to slip into 'holiday mode'.
This was a very unusual training camp for us; we've never stayed in one place for such a long time. So to maintain high-quality training throughout the week and then perform at such a level is the perfect way to cap off a productive week.
Next, you're about to equal Peter Shilton's record for England appearances, right?
Yes, it would be great to play next Tuesday, and that's why the coach always substitutes me during the match – he's saving me for the next one (laughs). But jokes aside, he did mention this after the game, and I'll prepare well and be ready to start again on Tuesday.
