According to an exclusive report by the Evening Standard, Chelsea U21 captain Olutayo Subuloye is attracting interest from several clubs. Some European teams have already inquired about a loan move for the 18-year-old centre-back, and more English clubs are expected to join the race.

It is understood that Subuloye has garnered significant interest as the January transfer window approaches. However, Chelsea has not yet decided whether to allow him to leave on loan. The club's priority is the player's long-term development and his future opportunity to break into the first team.
This season, Subuloye has already been training with the Chelsea first team, managed by Enzo Maresca. During the recent international break, he trained with the first team at Cobham and played 45 minutes in a closed-door friendly against Portsmouth.
This summer, Subuloye travelled with the Chelsea first team for pre-season tours in Australia and Asia, accumulating 179 minutes of playing time. Notably, he played the full 90 minutes in Chelsea's 3-3 draw against Malaysian champions Johor Darul Ta'zim.
Last season, as captain of the Chelsea U18 team, Subuloye led them to win the U18 League Southern title and the national championship. Following his excellent performances, he was subsequently appointed captain of the Chelsea U21 team.
Subuloye is currently an England youth international, and due to his parents' nationality, he is also eligible to play for the Nigerian national team.
Regarding his personal goals for this season, Subuloye hopes to get an opportunity in the EFL Cup or FA Cup to make his senior debut for Chelsea in an official match.
Subuloye's current contract with Chelsea runs until 2030. The club holds him in high regard, and he hopes to emulate players like Levi Colwill and other academy graduates in breaking through under Maresca's management.
Subuloye initially developed in Brighton's academy before joining Chelsea at U12 level. He initially played as a midfielder but gradually transitioned to centre-back, demonstrating his positional versatility.
In addition to his on-field performance, Subuloye has also achieved excellent academic results, including an A* in Business Studies. As he has progressed through the youth ranks to the U21 team, Chelsea staff have been impressed by his leadership, professionalism, and dedication.
