Galatasaray coach Buruk embraced the difficult challenge of facing Barcelona, stating before the match, "We must be very strong and full of belief."

Buruk, a former player now coaching Galatasaray, is preparing to face Barcelona. He is aware of his team's limitations but has a clear idea of how to trouble the Blaugrana. Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Buruk emphasized: "We must be very strong in tackles, fight for every ball, and be full of belief."

When asked if he feared Barcelona, he replied: "No fear, but we know we are facing the team in the best form at the moment. Everyone considers them favorites against us, which is normal, but we will give our all on the field."

Regarding Galatasaray's approach against Barcelona, Buruk said: "Firstly, we are Galatasaray, and we are playing at home. We will be very strong and fight for every ball with full belief. We won't just defend; we will actively attack and press them."

When discussing İlkay Gündoğan's situation, he said: "Don't misunderstand his actions. I am very happy with him. He always gives his all in training and is ready to play. I come from the world of football, and I understand how he feels right now. Players are not robots. It's normal for him to be frustrated after not getting to play despite warming up on the sidelines."

When asked about Batrakov's expected performance in this match, Buruk said: "We signed him from Lokomotiv Moscow because he is an excellent player. He is quickly adapting to our style of play and our demands."

Uruguayan midfielder Torreira also acknowledged that Barcelona was visiting in excellent form: "To play against one of the best teams in the world right now, we have to perform very well and give our best. Galatasaray is always used to giving their best in the Champions League. We are a very solid team, and the more adversity we face, the more we can excel, with the support of our fans behind us. We are very motivated right now."

The Uruguayan international particularly praised Barcelona's midfield and attacking prowess: "They are undoubtedly the best. They control the game through possession and will dominate you because it's hard to attack them. We must be very strong defensively and try to hurt them as much as possible on attack."
