Following last week's unimpressive result against Gombe United, Nasarawa United coach, Kabir Dogo says they are ready for their next Nigerian topflight duel against Abia Warriors.

The Solid Miners were held to a 1-1 draw in Lafia and Dogo hopes his charges become more clinical in front of goal against the Ucendu Babes.

"We are ready for our next game against Abia Warriors after a disappointing outing against Gombe United," Dogo told Goal.

"That's what football offers sometimes. It's not about the number of clear cut chances you create but instead, it's about the number of goals scored. 

"For those who follow and watch Nasarawa United play, they'll agree that the team is technically sound but football can be funny at times. It won't be out of place if we had scored 10 goals in that match because we created very good scoring chances which we failed to bury. 

"Maybe we ran out of luck but we have left that episode behind us and we are prepared to face Abia Warriors. Both aren't comfortable with the points they have and we hope that the referees will continue the good job they've been doing by serving good officiating."
