According to TuttoMercato, Agustin Modica, a forward for Argentinian club Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza, might be called up to the Italian national team.

Modica not only holds an Italian passport but was also born in Italy. This season, he has played 16 games for Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza, scoring 7 goals.

When interviewed by ESPN recently, Modica was asked if he might play for the Italian national team in the future. He replied, "Every player dreams of playing for their national team. But as I said, I'm focused on the team right now. I'm very grateful to my teammates."

According to TuttoMercato, Mancini has been following Modica and may consider calling him up to the Italian national team.
