Valencia returned to training after a rest day following their away victory against Alavés. Braulio Vázquez was also present, observing the session and speaking with the coaching staff, while the players who started the match participated in recovery training.

However, bad news emerged from the session: G. Rodriguez was absent. He limped off the pitch after being stepped on during the match in the Basque Country, and the injury remains painful. Nevertheless, he is hopeful of being fit for Sunday's match against Real Sociedad.
Strong Partnership with Mayor
The Argentine midfielder had recently returned from injury and was forming an excellent partnership with Aarón Mayor in midfield, but was forced to leave the pitch early due to the new issue. He explained after the match: "I'm in good physical condition. My previous discomfort is fine now. I was substituted because I was stepped on, and my toe was very painful. I'm okay physically. I couldn't run because of the pain, but otherwise I'm fine."
In the coming days, the player will work to return to full team training ahead of Sunday's match, as Valencia seeks to secure their first win of the season at Mestalla. The team will then face a longer than usual international break.
