According to The Sun, Chelsea and England legend Dennis Wise is selling his Buckinghamshire mansion for £4.95 million.

The sprawling estate features a tennis court and swimming pool, though it does not have a football pitch. Inside, there are two games rooms for billiards, table tennis and video games, as well as a cinema, bar, gym, pool area and two changing rooms on the second floor.

Wise has owned this property, described as "magnificent and impressive," for 25 years. He purchased the rural estate for £875,000 in 2001, the same year he left Chelsea after 445 appearances and winning six major trophies. Now, with the property listed at £4.95 million, Wise is expected to make a substantial profit.

Wise also played for Wimbledon, Leicester, Millwall, Southampton and Coventry before retiring in 2006.

In 2005, while Wise was managing Millwall, his sister Kim was home alone with her two young children when she was burgled. She was forced to hide in the bedroom with the children and lock the door.

The estate spans 8,686 square feet on 1.4 acres and includes a three-car garage with a one-bedroom apartment above for staff or guests. The interior also features a grand entrance hall, central staircase, chandeliers, breakfast room, media room, study and home office.

The estate agent noted in the listing: "This property is situated in a quiet semi-rural setting, offering both peaceful country living and convenient access to local amenities and transport hubs."
