According to English media outlet The Sun, London police arrested a total of six fans following today's Dockers Derby.

A large number of police officers were deployed at the scene today. The "Dockers Derby" is undoubtedly one of the most intense rivalries in English football. Due to concerns about clashes between rival fans, the Metropolitan Police deployed up to 400 officers across Southeast London to manage supporters from both sides as they arrived at Millwall's home ground, The Den.

The Metropolitan Police issued a statement at 4 PM on Saturday, confirming that six individuals had been arrested for various alleged offenses, including assaulting a police officer, entering a venue without authorization, and entering or attempting to enter the stadium while intoxicated. Police stated that all six individuals remain in custody.

Additionally, on Friday evening around 7:15 PM, eleven men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit criminal damage in connection with an incident that occurred around the same time on September 18.

The Metropolitan Police added: "A dispersal order issued under Section 35 of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act remains in effect until 11:59 PM tonight. This order allows officers to disperse any groups causing disorder."

Photos taken after the match showed mounted police and riot police deployed, with some officers raising batons to maintain separation between the two sets of fans. However, under strict police control, most supporters from both sides were escorted by officers to nearby stations and departed without serious incident.

Before the match began, police had deployed officers at London Bridge station and along multiple routes from The Den to other areas, forming a security cordon to prevent clashes between rival fans.

The two teams drew 2-2, having not faced each other in a competitive match for over 14 years. Konstantinos Mavropanos scored a late equalizer for West Ham United. This marked the 100th meeting between the two East London clubs.
