Al-Ahli goalkeeper Edouard Mendy praised Mamelodi Sundowns as undoubtedly the strongest team in Africa following his side's 1-2 defeat to them.

The Intercontinental Cup match took place in South Africa, where Mamelodi Sundowns emerged victorious with a 2-1 win. Following the match, Mendy praised the opponent's strength and performance.

In a post-match TV interview, Mendy said, "Mamelodi Sundowns are undoubtedly the strongest team in Africa and one of the strongest teams I have faced in my career."

With this victory, Mamelodi Sundowns won the Africa-Asia-Pacific Cup and advanced to the next stage of the Intercontinental Cup.
