According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United fans have launched an online campaign calling for a boycott of the club's sponsors.

On Tuesday evening, several Manchester United social media accounts announced the online protest. Using the hashtag "#BoycottUnited", they encouraged fans to leave negative reviews for the related companies, send emails to their press offices, and comment on the companies' social media posts.
Fans also created a poster listing Manchester United's sponsors and partners, with the message: "No matter how small your voice, you have the right to speak up. Let these companies know how you feel through comments and social media."
Snapdragon, owned by Qualcomm Technologies, began sponsoring Manchester United's shirt front from the 2024/25 season. The California-based company is Manchester United's largest commercial partner, and fans have posted numerous negative comments about the club's ownership issues on their social media accounts.
In response, Snapdragon has hidden comments from angry fans on some of their posts. The sponsorship deal between Manchester United and Snapdragon is reportedly worth around £60 million per season.
The online campaign targeting Manchester United's sponsors and partners was initiated because some fans believe direct protests have been ineffective.
Manchester United fans have continuously protested the Glazer family's leveraged buyout of the club since 2005, and Jim Ratcliffe has also become a target of fan protests over the past 18 months.
The Manchester United fan group "The 1958" recently organized a protest ahead of the Manchester derby, objecting to how the club treated season ticket holders during a controversial investigation into ticket resales. Police estimated around 500 fans participated, with many more joining as the protest moved to Sir Matt Busby Way and marched toward the stadium.
Manchester United fans are also dissatisfied with the club's summer transfer activity. Manchester United spent £150 million to sign Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui, while André Onana joined on a free transfer.
The club was unable to sign a backup left-back to replace Luke Shaw, who has missed three matches, and bringing in a backup striker was not a priority.
Manchester City led spending in this transfer window with £458 million, Chelsea came second with £342.4 million, and Tottenham and Newcastle United spent £334 million and £275.2 million respectively.
