Bergvall told Swedish media outlet Fotbollskanalen that Tottenham Hotspur is working hard to build something new, which takes time, and he did not comment on whether Robertson's views were right or wrong.

Referring to Robertson's comments about the lack of confidence among Tottenham Hotspur players and fans, Bergvall said: "It's hard for me to say how much we have been affected by the past few years, but it's a process. We have a lot of new players and a relatively new coach who helped the team avoid relegation last season. We are trying to build something new, and it takes time. If Robertson thinks that, then that's his opinion, and I won't say whether it's right or wrong."

Bergvall added: "We had a tough start, but we only look forward. Of course, it's difficult, but that's part of football. It feels like we are playing better and better, and improving every day in training. Now it's about moving forward, persevering, and then we will get some kind of reward."

Bergvall signed a new contract this month. He spoke about his areas for improvement: "It's hard to say exactly what needs to be improved; it all comes from experience, from learning new things every day, and then becoming better in all aspects. Becoming more mature in certain aspects of the game, and perhaps tougher in others. There are also some things I don't want to discuss in the media, such as our internal relationships and communication methods."
