According to the latest report from the Manchester Evening News, Baleba has adapted well at Manchester United and is particularly close with Mbeumo, Yoro, and Amad Diallo Traore.

Reportedly, Baleba joined Manchester United with an ankle ligament injury sustained during Brighton's pre-season. The injury was not severe, which is why Manchester United proceeded with the £70 million deal, but it was enough to delay his debut.
He resumed light ball training in mid-September before joining full team training. His appearance with the team at Stockport station, en route to London for the match against Fulham, was therefore a welcome sight. In that game, Manchester United's fatigue and poor running statistics became a talking point.
There were some objective factors contributing to Manchester United's running stats being among the worst in the league, and Carrick's tactics were a significant reason. However, it's hard to believe that Manchester United's bottom ranking across multiple key metrics was entirely due to tactical arrangements. Tielemans and Mainoo are clearly not the most mobile central midfield pairing in the Premier League.
Baleba has extensive coverage and can provide the vitality that the midfield has been lacking. He is one of only two midfielders in the 2024-25 season to reach speeds above 34 km/h, and his total of 92 tackles and interceptions ranks him tied for sixth among Premier League midfielders.
Since joining Manchester United, Baleba has adapted well at Carrington. Sources say that although he was initially shy, his lively and engaging personality has gradually emerged as he has become more comfortable in his new environment.
Manchester United had previously shared over a dozen photos of Baleba at Carrington, most showing him smiling. Joining Manchester United was his dream, and he conveyed this to the club when they first expressed clear interest last year.
Baleba has a good relationship with Mbeumo and is particularly close with Yoro and Amad Diallo Traore, with whom he recovered from injury in the gym. While most Manchester United players had a week off, a few still came to Carrington for individual training, and Baleba was one of them.
