Ahead of Portugal's match against Denmark, Neves stated in an interview with RTP that the team would continue to play as they had in the previous two matches, striving for victory. Regarding the controversy surrounding Ronaldo's departure from the training camp, he said the team was currently focused only on the match, with time to discuss these matters later.

Speaking about Portugal's performance in the upcoming match

Neves said: "In this match, Portugal will play largely similar to how we did in the last two games. Since the coach took over, we have been working hard to improve and adapt to his preferred playing style. We have very limited time for training, and sometimes we have to correct issues during the match, as the coach has already mentioned. However, Portugal will continue to play this way, and there is no doubt that we will fight for victory, as we always have."

When asked about the impact of Ronaldo leaving the training camp on the team

Neves said: "All of us are very professional. Especially today, everyone knows the match is about to start, and we are now very focused on this upcoming game. There will be time to discuss these matters later. Today, we are fully concentrated on the match against Denmark. As I just said, this match will be very tough for us, and all of us must be 100% committed and in the best possible condition for this game."

When asked if Ronaldo had contacted any player on the team in the past few hours, Neves did not elaborate further

Neves said: "We are focused. I'm sorry, I have an hour and a half until I go on the field. As I just said, I will be playing, so now there is only an hour and a half until I go on, and I need to put all my attention on this match."
