Terry stated that he expects Chelsea's performance to fluctuate throughout the season, and he believes "regrettably" that Arsenal are the favorites to win the Premier League title.

When asked which team would finish higher—Arsenal or Chelsea—the former England captain told Walcott on Theo Walcott's show: "Regrettably, it will be Arsenal."

"We had a good start at Chelsea, and that match against Arsenal was actually competitive."

"Honestly, since that game, our performance has been inconsistent, and I think that will continue all season."

"But I still have hope for a top-four finish. I think we are still a few years away from being title contenders."

"Not long ago, I said that Arsenal now have the opportunity to dominate the Premier League."

Terry believes that, with the success of last season, the Gunners have everything they need to continue their dominance.

"I think Arsenal currently have everything in place," he added.

"Chelsea has always had a solid defensive setup and players capable of scoring, and Arsenal now fully possesses these qualities."

"Their defense is very solid, and I appreciate their current style—very aggressive and highly motivated players."

"After winning matches, they can control possession, and Arsenal has always had that ability."

"So, regrettably, although I don't want to say it, Arsenal are the absolute favorites for the title."
