Following the friendly match against Cremonese, goalkeeper Neto, who recently returned to Juventus, was interviewed by several Italian media outlets present.

Neto, first of all, we'd like to ask about your current physical condition. After all, it's been a while since you played an official match, so your competitive form and physical recovery still need gradual improvement. Did you train again today? How do you feel overall right now?

To be honest, I feel very well right now, and I'm quite surprised.Since this week, I've been doing a series of high-intensity individual training sessions, significantly increasing my training load and rediscovering the feeling of making consecutive saves like that.I'm happy that, besides feeling physically well, I've enjoyed every training session, so overall it's been really great.

Could you tell us in detail about receiving that call from Juventus? Where were you? What were you doing? What was going through your head at that moment?

Thank God,at that timeI was enjoying some rare quality time, able to spend complete time with my family and enjoy family life.It was the first time in my life that I had time for myself, allowing my mind to relax completely. When I received the news, I was in Brazil watching the Davis Cup tennis match between Brazil and Switzerland. After hearing the news, there was really nothing to hesitate about, because when you have the opportunity to return to a place that's already familiar to you, obviously you don't need much time to readjust. So I feel that I'm already at home, and that feeling is incredibly good.

From the club's overall perspective, what differences have you noticed since returning to Juventus this time?

Speaking at the club level, the changes here are truly enormous. The last time I played here, the team's training ground was still in Vinovo (Neto left Juventus in 2017, and the first team's training ground officially moved to Continassa in 2018).Although I've stayed in touch with many friends who remained here over the years and long heard about the modern facilities they've built here, experiencing it firsthand and hearing about it are two completely different things. This transformation is extremely significant and impressive.

I've had the privilege of playing in many different countries and for several teams before, but what Juventus management has built here is truly breathtaking. Therefore, from the perspective of club management and infrastructure development, they've done an incredible job and are truly worthy of praise.

From my personal perspective, one thought has been deeply on my mind these past years, though I haven't expressed it publicly, but I really hoped to return to Italy with the more mature mindset I've built and developed after turning 32 or 33.So now I'm very happy because I truly feel extremely prepared for this moment.

What about coach Spalletti? You must have spoken with him. What kind of first impression did he make on you? What did he tell you and what are his expectations for you?

Very good, really very good.I've never worked with the coach before, but in football, everyone has mutual friends and acquaintances who tell you: "Look, he's that type of coach..."But honestly, my first impression of him was extremely positive; he possesses clarity of vision and vast experience that speak for themselves. That interaction really felt very positive.

You experienced the Juventus team that consistently won trophies between 2015 and 2017, when you continuously won the Serie A title and played a leading role in the Champions League, and you were also one of the key figures in winning the Coppa Italia. Now you return to find a Juventus that hasn't tasted victory in a long time and is competing in the Europa League. What changes have occurred during this period? In short, has the Juventus world undergone seismic changes in just nine years?

But that ultimately comes down to the dynamic evolution and environmental changes inherent in football, and we must ultimately work diligently based on the specific situation at hand.Ultimately, the team's foundation and the players are here; the current teammates are very strong players, possessing excellent skills and crucial qualities. In my opinion, this team has total capacity to achieve the heights it deserves and reclaim the glorious achievements Juventus is accustomed to.

As for the various different environments and contexts experienced during this period, all of those are things that happen in the football world.Ultimately, every team yearns to win, not just Juventus, but in my opinion, we can definitely achieve something really great here.

Have you spoken with Chiellini? One could say he's the only person remaining from your previous time here...

I was watching the match and talking with Chiellini. It's really great to be back in an atmosphere like this, as I said at the beginning, there are people here that you already know well. Now he has his role in club management and is doing his best to help, which is really fantastic.
