According to Sport, Barcelona has recently sent scouts to Nyon, Switzerland, to monitor the performance of young Brazilian player Eduardo Conceição. The young talent from Palmeiras has attracted attention from several top European clubs.

During the international break, several youth competitions have taken place across Europe. National teams including Brazil, Italy, France, and England have participated in youth tournaments throughout Spain, and several major European clubs have also sent scouts to evaluate young players, including Barcelona.

For Barcelona, the most notable event currently is a friendly tournament organized by UEFA in Switzerland. Nyon is hosting the U18 tournament, which includes teams such as Brazil's U17 squad. Barcelona's primary focus is Conceição, who plays for the Brazilian national team.

Conceição is considered one of Palmeiras' most promising young talents and has been on the radar of several major clubs for months. In the current tournament, Brazil's overall performance has been inconsistent, which has also affected Conceição's form.

In the first group stage match, Brazil defeated Canada 6-0, with Conceição scoring. Brazil then lost to Spain 1-3, followed by a 2-1 victory over Ivory Coast, and will now compete against Colombia for a consolation prize in the tournament.

Regarding previous reports of Barcelona's interest in Conceição, the club's sporting department has acknowledged his enormous potential. However, they have not taken any concrete action to sign him, preferring instead to wait until he turns 18.

Meanwhile, Palmeiras has taken the initiative by signing Conceição to his first professional contract, which includes a release clause of up to 100 million euros. This creates a significant barrier for European clubs looking to recruit him in the future.

Conceição is still in his development phase, and some sources suggest his recent progress has plateaued somewhat. Facing several high-level youth national teams in Nyon, Barcelona's scouts are directly observing his current form to continue assessing the development of the young Brazilian talent.
