On October 5, Chelsea officially announced that John Terry will captain a charity match in March against Tottenham Hotspur Legends.

Official:

The Chelsea Legends vs. Tottenham Hotspur Legends match, taking place during the Easter holidays, will raise crucial funds for the Chelsea Foundation, supporting their efforts to unite communities, promote healthier lives, and shape a brighter future.

John Terry, who captained Chelsea to 15 major trophies during his illustrious career with the Blues, will take to the pitch to face Tottenham once again. This evokes memories of some of the most historic rivalries between the club and its London neighbours.

Terry scored against Tottenham in the 2015 League Cup final. This was just one of his 717 appearances, a record that places him third on Chelsea's all-time appearance list.

More legendary players will be announced in the coming weeks.
