According to Bild, Bayer Leverkusen forward Kofane has halted contract extension talks, with both sides originally planning to extend until 2031.

In early September, the contract extension between Bayer Leverkusen and Kofane reportedly seemed close to completion. Kofane's annual salary could have reached up to 4 million euros, but the agreement was never finalized. Arsenal and Manchester United are both pursuing Kofane.
