Como sporting director Carlalberto Ludi stated in an interview with Sky Sport Italia that the team hopes to prove themselves to be on the same level as Roma.

Ludi said: "This will undoubtedly be a challenging and extremely difficult match against one of the strongest teams in the league. We want to approach it seriously and prove that we are a worthy opponent for Roma. We want to remain competitive and manage our physical and mental exertion, because there are many more games to come. I am confident that we will be ready."
