Former Real Madrid player, Julio Cesar Santos is set to kickstart his coaching career in Spain as the new coach of Cristo Atletico.

The club from Palencia have signed the Brazilian until the end of the season, to assist the team's efforts to makethe playoffs and achieve promotion to the Segunda B.

Julio Cesar will travel to Spain on Friday, when he will be officially presented by the club.

Throughout his career he featured for several European sides, including AC Milan, Benfica and Olympiacos, while he also spent four seasons at Real Valladolid.
