It's not that uncommon to see a supporter running onto a football pitch hoping to snap selfie with Lionel Messi, but it is unusual to see fellow professional footballers asking the Argentine for a photo on the field.

Yet that's exactly what Jamaica's Deshorn Brown, who has just been signed by Spanish side Lorca, did during the 2015 Copa American, when he asked the No.10 for a selfie immediately after his team had lost to Argentina 1-0.

"Messi is the best in the world, a star, and that's a photo I'll have as a souvenir all my life," he explained afterwards.

Now in the Spanish second division, Brown may get the chance to face Messi again if Lorca manage to go on a Copa del Rey run next season.

All eyes would be on the Jamaican at the final whistle if he ever does get the chance to meet his idol one more time.
