Guadalajara and several municipalities in the state of Jalisco awoke to a wave of violence following reports that “El Mencho,” leader of the CJNG cartel, had been killed. As a result, Liga MX Femenil has rescheduled the Clásico Nacional between Chivas and América, which was set to be played on the afternoon of 22 February at Estadio Akron.

The new date and time will be confirmed shortly.”
Violence was reported early this morning in the state capital and surrounding municipalities. Guadalajara currently sit second with 22 points, while América are fourth with 21.
Meanwhile, the Liga de Expansión MX has also rescheduled one of its fixtures. The Tapatío vs Tlaxcala match, originally set for this Sunday at 4:00 p.m., will now be played on Monday, 23 February, at a time to be confirmed.
