Official news: Liverpool striker Kieran Morrison has joined League One club Sheffield Wednesday on loan.

Liverpool officially confirmed that Kieran Morrison has completed his loan move to Sheffield Wednesday, with the loan spell lasting until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The Liverpool forward will join League One side Sheffield Wednesday for the new season to gain more first-team experience.

The 19-year-old Morrison has been with Liverpool since the U14s and has been a regular for the club's U21 team in recent years.

In October last year, Morrison made his first-team debut, starting at Anfield in Liverpool's Carabao Cup match against Crystal Palace. Last season, he made a total of 2 appearances for the team.

Morrison signed a new contract with Liverpool in May this year, and then made his senior international debut for Northern Ireland in June.
