Arsenal official news: Tsolis answered fan questions in a recent Reddit "Ask Me Anything" session, discussing player nutrition, Arsenal culture, and more.

On bouncing back from defeat:
I think losing is part of football, and we know it happens often. You can only learn from your mistakes and figure out how to do better next time. So sometimes, understanding defeat is also a valuable lesson.
Of course, I don't like to lose, and obviously no one here likes to lose, but sometimes losing can bring the team closer together and help us improve in certain areas. You don't have to consciously notice it yourself; after a loss, just take a step back and prepare for the next game.
On healthy eating and cheat meals:
Actually, we pay a lot of attention to nutrition. My daily breakfast is usually an omelet with avocado; sometimes I also have porridge because I like to vary my breakfast. As for cheat meals, maybe I'll have one after a game. I like to eat something sweet after a match, maybe a brownie or something. But it won't be too indulgent. Healthy eating is very important.
On when he realized he was good enough for the first team:
That's a good question. I think around 12 or 13, I knew I was quite good for my age group. I scored a lot of goals in Greece. Obviously, my goal then was to play for the PAOK first team. That happened very early for me—I made my debut at 18. So around 13 or 14, I knew I had a chance to become a first-team player.
On the biggest cultural change at Arsenal:
The scale of Arsenal is truly immense because it's a global club and one of the biggest in the world. Whether it's in hotels, stadiums, or when we travel by bus, so many fans show up—it's truly overwhelming. Compared to the clubs I played for before, this is a huge difference. The organization of the club, the training ground, the stadium, and everything else are also excellent. I think it's top-notch here, which makes the team very strong in this regard. That's the biggest difference I've felt.
On how teammates motivate each other to improve:
Actually, everyone helps each other in training, on the pitch, and in games. We're a team that wants to keep improving and aims to win every time, so the standards in training are very high. I can say that the more experienced players talk a lot—like Merino, Gabriel, and Rice—and I learn a lot from them, and from Martinelli too. I think it's great to have players like that around and to learn from them.
On joining Arsenal after winning the Premier League:
It felt incredible to sign for Arsenal, especially after the team won the Premier League last season. Starting a new season as part of a championship team makes everything even more special. I actually felt at home immediately. They treated me very well, welcomed me warmly, and I quickly settled in. This is thanks to my teammates and staff. I can see that the locker room atmosphere here is very healthy.
On who would win a match between left-footed and right-footed players:
Who would win? That's a good question. We have many left-footed players on our team. But I believe the right-footed players would win because we can also use our left foot well. So we have an advantage in using both feet. I choose the right-footed team.
On which teammate would be best at surviving on a deserted island:
That's hard to say because I've only been here for a month and don't know every player's abilities yet. But I'd choose someone creative. Maybe I'd choose Ødegaard. I think he's patient and has survival instincts.
