Raphinha said at the beginning of the season that he was surprised to play as a No. 9. Whose idea was it to play him there? Now that he has such good stats, what are your expectations for him?

He's performing really well, and we know Raphinha's quality. We're happy for him. He contributes a lot to us, he's in his prime, and his defensive work is also excellent. Today, his teammates also provided him with some beautiful final passes, and he seized the opportunities. In short, it was a decision made by the coaching staff. We discussed who could play in that position, and I also consulted with the players. I think with these stats and today's performance, he's also happy to play as a No. 9.

What's the extent of Christensen's injury?

I estimate he will be out for a few weeks due to a muscle strain. We'll know more after tomorrow's examination.

Deco confirmed today that Raphinha will extend his contract until 2030. The player himself has always said you changed his life. What do you think about his contract extension?

I think this is the best decision the club has made. His relationship with the fans and the team is perfect—he's the ideal captain for this team. He gives his all for the team, and his performance this season has been particularly impressive. I think we played very well in the second half today, completely controlling the game, and I felt much more at ease on the sidelines.

Why did you ultimately choose Livaković today?

Sometimes it's not just about rational analysis; you also have to trust your instincts. Today, that was my feeling, and I made this decision after discussing it with the coaching staff. It's not that we don't trust Tek (Szczesny); it's just that I felt Livaković should play today.

How would you evaluate Rodri's performance with and without the ball?

In my opinion, he is an outstanding player and very important to us. He controls everything. Sometimes it's good to slow down the tempo a bit, which allows us to play more calmly in positional attacks. He works very well with Pedri and the center-backs.

A few days ago, you said Tek was the second-choice goalkeeper. Has the goalkeeper hierarchy changed after today? How would you evaluate Livaković's performance?

He performed very well, but as I said earlier, this was my decision for today. Sometimes you see a player and feel they should be the first choice for that position. It's nothing dramatic; it's just a specific arrangement for this match. Honestly, the situation with goalkeeping is the trickiest right now. I know I can't make everyone happy because the team is very strong. When I look at the bench and see players like Gavi, Xavi Simons, and Koundé not getting to play, I also feel bad because I support every player, but I have to make decisions. I always think about the team, and my decisions are not directed at anyone personally. This is my job, but it's certainly not easy at the moment.
