According to journalist Samuel Luckhurst, Manchester United are hopeful that Amad Diallo will be fit for the match against Tottenham.

The 24-year-old winger has been sidelined since the start of the season after sustaining a minor injury before the opening day defeat to Hull City.

Amad Diallo was far from match fit for Manchester United's last Premier League game away to Fulham on September 20, but based on his recovery progress, he is expected to return for next Saturday's match against Tottenham.

The Ivorian international posted an update on social media with an anxious emoji and an hourglass emoji, suggesting his imminent return to action.

Amad Diallo has yet to play for Manchester United this season, having appeared in four of Manchester United's six pre-season matches before Côte d'Ivoire's elimination in the World Cup knockout stage.
