According to Sport, Joan García might be rested for the match against Getafe to preserve energy for El Clásico.

Joan García sustained an injury before halftime in the match against Racing Santander after slipping and subsequently did not play against Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, nor did he travel with the Spanish national team. Barcelona's medical report issued on September 17 stated that he had only "slight discomfort" in his left knee. Although the club did not specify a recovery time, it typically takes two to three weeks, which would be before Barcelona's return to LaLiga. On October 10, Getafe will visit Spotify Camp Nou. Joan García should theoretically be able to return by then, but Flick must also consider a potentially decisive factor: the challenging schedule ahead.
The October schedule grows progressively tougher, like climbing the Col du Tourmalet, until it reaches its peak: El Clásico on the 26th at Barcelona's home stadium. The match against Getafe appears to be the easiest of all, and it is also the one in which Joan García would be least likely to be fully match-fit. Flick might not take unnecessary risks and will likely continue to trust Dominik Livakovic. Livakovic performed well at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, despite being beaten by Ferran Torres's header. He is currently training with the Croatian national team and has already started in matches against the Czech Republic (a 2-1 victory) and Spain (a 4-1 defeat). Facing a strong Spanish team at Sevilla's home ground, the Barcelona goalkeeper can hardly be blamed.
The "Col du Tourmalet" of October
Resting during the match against Bordalás's team might allow Joan García to be fully fit for subsequent matches. Barcelona will play three consecutive away matches: a trip to Galatasaray, followed by a match against Real Betis at the Estadio de La Cartuja, and an away game against Paris Saint-Germain.
All of this will happen before El Clásico at Spotify Camp Nou on October 26. This match is always special and highly anticipated; it could allow Barcelona to deliver a decisive blow to their biggest rival, Real Madrid.
Barcelona needs a Joan García who is in top form and without any knee concerns. Livakovic is a reliable goalkeeper and appears to remain ahead of Szczęsny. After the players return from their break, Szczęsny will train hard to regain the trust of the German coach.
