According to reports, a Sporting CP youth player has expressed his desire to be teammates with Ronaldo, citing his massive impact.

The 22-year-old Danish midfielder has been impressed by the Al Nassr forward's significance to Sporting CP, Portuguese football, and world football.
Since arriving at Alcochete this summer, Silas Andersen has made no secret of his admiration for Ronaldo, admitting he hopes to play alongside the Portuguese captain at Alvalade.
The Sporting CP youth player emphasized Al Nassr forward's importance to Sporting CP and Portuguese football during an interview with Danish streaming platform Viaplay. Ronaldo has recently been a global focal point following his departure from national team training.
"That would be amazing. To be able to say that I played with him, that would be wonderful," the 22-year-old said, captivated by the star's legendary status upon arriving at the academy: "It's incredible to see one person have such a massive impact on a club and a country. On my first day at the academy, I immediately saw a huge picture of him."
The Nordic player's comments came shortly after Ronaldo left national team training. During the 2025 UEFA U21 Championship qualifiers, Silas Andersen admitted he was not very familiar with the daily atmosphere in Portugal but already anticipated how this event would be received.
"I have to experience it myself, to feel that atmosphere. I believe there has already been some discussion about this topic," he concluded.
